The times when women's fashion was only available in "outsize" sizes from 18 to 30, sack-like and shapeless, have long gone. The synthetic fibre elastane has such a high stretch factor that it ensures trousers do not dig in and are very comfortable to wear. This is why fashionable jeans in larger sizes also contain elastane. Soft jersey and cotton are also excellent for larger sizes: they are used for dresses, coats and jackets. Fashion for larger sizes flows flatteringly around the body and is not just comfortable, but also feminine and stylish. Accessories such as long necklaces and scarves look good on all women, and at the same time draw attention away from those little problem areas. Shoes, too, can play visual tricks: shoes in a pointed design with small heels make legs look longer.
