Brand philosophyThe brand is still characterised by the clear and pure style of the former head designer, Gabriele Strehle. With reduction to the bare essentials, she set entirely new fashion standards. Top-quality materials always play a key role in this. Exquisite wools such as cashmere and mohair are worked into pullovers, cardigans and coats. Shirts, dresses and jackets are made from top-quality silk and leather. The company takes care to always use the natural fabrics and materials sparingly in the process.
History Wohlfahrt & Co was established in Nördlingen by the Strehle family back in 1949. The Strenesse brand was founded in 1969 and personalised in the 1990s through addition of the name of designer Gabriele Strehle. Today the brand comprises the Strenesse Blue, Strenesse Men and Strenesse Gabriele Strehle designer ranges. The majority of production takes place in Europe, with the materials for the collections obtained in Italy.
