Care symbols
To make it as easy as possible for you to care for your expensive Peter Hahn fabrics, we have attached to each garment washing and ironing instructions to help you make the most of your purchase. The exact meaning of the symbols used is explained here.
Washing

Normal wash cycle
The figures in the symbol are maximum washing temperatures and must not be exceeded.

Delicates cycle
The bar beneath the symbol indicates that gentler (machine) washing is required (e.g. delicates cycle).

Wash on special delicates cycle
Two bars beneath the symbol mean that this item needs very gentle treatment.

Hand wash
Hand wash at maximum 40 °C.

Dry cleaning

May be dry cleaned. These letters indicate the solvent used for dry cleaning.

May be dry cleaned. These letters indicate the solvent used for dry cleaning.

e.g.
Dry cleaning for delicates. A bar under the circle indicates that special care is required, i.e. restricting mechanical stress, moisture and heat.
